A sneak peek at the astrology of May 2023 …
I’ve just been looking at the stars for the month ahead for my Mainly Moonology Membership, and honestly it’s massive.
Not really sure where to start, so let’s start with the obvious; there’s a Full Moon eclipse coming on May 5th.
I mean, a Full Moon eclipse! It’s big!
A turning point…
It’s a turning point, it’s the end of a chapter, hopefully the end of a chapter that you haven’t enjoyed so you can start a new chapter.
Just don’t expect this to be like a light switch on May 5th. It might already be happening now, it might happen a little bit after.
Eclipses are like that, they don’t necessarily happen on the day.
The energy of a Full Moon eclipse is incredibly potent and transformative. It’s a time when we can release old patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that no longer serve us and make way for new beginnings. As the Moon’s shadow passes over us, we are given a chance to step into our power and make positive changes in our lives.
The Full Moon eclipse is a time of heightened intuition and clarity. We are more attuned to our inner voice and can better understand our true desires and purpose. This clarity allows us to make important decisions and take action towards our goals with confidence and conviction.
We are headed for a Full Moon eclipse – the effects of which can last months. So now is a super powerful time for letting go. Focus on what you do want and not on what you don’t want.

Lucky Jupiter is being triggered…
Also this month we have the planet of good luck, Jupiter changing signs. This only happens about once a year.
Jupiter’s moving into Taurus and that means something different for everyone because we all have Taurus in our chart somewhere. That’s just how astrology works.

The other/third big thing is that Mercury retrograde is going to end mid-month.

– and communication, technology, and travel can be disrupted, and misunderstandings and delays can occur.
However, as Mercury retrograde comes to an end this month, we can now all breathe a collective sigh of relief and move forward with greater confidence.
The end of Mercury retrograde means that clearer communication channels will open up again, and misunderstandings and delays will begin to clear up. It’s a time when we can start to move forward with our plans and make big decisions.
One of the key benefits of the end of Mercury retrograde is that we should now have all the information we need to make that big decision. During Mercury retrograde, it’s common for important details to be missed, or for communication to break down, making it difficult to make a well-informed decision.
