This year starts with a bang as determined Mars and lucky Jupiter meet up in your sign and set your year off like a rocket headed for outer planets and major successes.

No one will be able to say no to you. Be ambitious now — you can achieve some serious life-long goals — whether that’s sailing solo across the Pacific or buying your own flat or moving to another country.
Mars, the planet of energy and action (and your traditional ruler), is in your sign for January and part of February. Since he only comes round every two years, this is an important boost.
This ought to be an optimistic year for you altogether, thanks to Jupiter’s presence in your sign for his once-a-decade visit. Jupiter is considered the luckiest planet — bringer of joy, bounty, and benevolence. Wherever he goes, he expands — and until November, that’s you.
Do watch out for your waistline! And be aware that you are just more noticeable this year. Think about how you can take advantage of that. Do you want a promotion? Can you put yourself up for a prize or a bursary?
