Virgo monthly horoscope – August 1 2018 - Yasmin Boland
Kali Chant - Top Banner

Chaos may reign in your day today routine at the start of the month. It doesn’t seem to matter what you do – school pals or co-workers seem to be determined to trip you up in more ways than one. It isn’t malicious, so you’ll need to simply grit your teeth and wait for this brief period to pass.

You’ll need to watch what you say as the month goes on. It’s all too easy for something to slip out unintended – and that can be even worse when it’s only part of the story. Being open and honest can make life easier, but you don’t need to be so open that you share very little detail of what you’ve been up to. There’s always a chance it could come back and bite you later. Chances are that you’re only gabbling because you’d really prefer a bit of peace and quiet and to be on your own. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’ll help you work out what you really think instead of what you believe you ought to think.

And it’s all very well thinking you should give your creative side a bit of a boost and take up a new hobby, but mid-month you can’t get any further than thinking it’s a good idea. Don’t worry too much about it. This is only a temporary blip and you’ll be able to spring into action at the end of the month when you realise you should do what makes you feel good rather than what someone else told you might be good for you.

If a relative or sibling calls on you for help, you can get a warm glowing feeling by complying with their demands. The trouble is that they might actually turn out to be demands and they may not be as helpless as they appear. It’s great to show a bit of compassion, but make sure that if you’re taken for a ride it’s a ride you really want to be on.
