And just like that, we are back to the Full Moon.
Are you ready for it?
As I like to remind people, manifesting is a two-part process.
We all focus on the New Moon work – the creative visualisation, the supporting affirmations, the feeling of the wish fulfilled – and all that is super important and super powerful.
But let me tell you a story; my life changed when I surrendered.
I was in India.
It was 2004 or 2005.
I was at the Sri Narayani Peedam ashram in southern India and I was resisting… Resisting the teachings I was hearing, resisting the teacher there, Sri Sakthi Narayani Amma. Resisting the idea that I could possible have found my way to a Divine place on Earth.
And then something life-changing happened.
One day as my teacher Sri Sakthi Narayani Amma was walking across the courtyard, Amma caught my eye and I felt something profound. I didn’t know what it was but I fell to the ground and in that moment, I surrendered to the Divine. And everything changed.
What does it mean surrendered?
I can’t even tell you.
You have to do it and find it out for yourself.
It wasn’t a giving up in a negative way, like you might imagine with the word surrendered. It was more like falling into a feather bed of trust.
And I believe that is when everything started to change for me. The struggle stopped. The dramas stopped. The looking for love in all the wrong places stopped.
I realised that I had this Divine support.
So I surrendered some more.
And that’s what I do every month under the Full Moon and I truly believe that it’s this surrender which has opened up new worlds to me, even more than the wishes I make at New Moon.
The New Moon is for gaining clarity and the Full Moon is for offering this all up to the Divine – the Divine which is in you and me – and seeing where it leads.
This month’s Full Moon…
I’ll be doing my Full Moon ceremony in my (newly-manifested!) garden TODAY, weather permitting! 6pm UK time. I hope you can join me! Click here to register from a reminder.
