A situation doesn’t have to be picture – perfect in order to see the value in it. After all, what is valued and what is not is simply a reflection of how we perceive it. We can choose for something to be hard or difficult, or we can see it as character building or an obstacle to overcome. Either way, regardless of the task, there is beauty to be found in the mundane – if you choose to see it. Perhaps a shift in your expectation may be what it takes for you to feel better.
