It’s about this time of the year that our thoughts start to turn to the year ahead, right?
So where are you with all that? How are you feeling?
I personally am a combination of optimistic and exhausted!
How about you?
I’m exhausted by all the fear of the past two years and optimistic that we are slowly but surely emerging from the pandemic which has kept us all captive and hostage for too long now.
The astrology for 2022 is SO much better…
…as I keep telling anyone who will listen. And with reports of omicron being as mild as a cold by even the most establishment-adjacent and lofty minds, I feel we have every reason to be cheerful.
So let’s just decide to be as we look at 2022.
Let’s start with some good news: this year, the most active of the big outer planets is… lucky Jupiter.
In astrology and Moonology, the bigger, slower‑moving, outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) provide the big backstory to whatever is going on.
Within that backstory, the Moon triggers the different energies that move in and out of our lives.
You can think of it like this:
• The outer planets are like the hour hand on a clock.
• The Sun and the inner planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) are the minute hand.
• The Moon is like the second hand. That might make it sound like the Moon is the least important, but that’s absolutely not the case!
The way it works in practice is that the inner and outer planets align with each other, and the Moon comes along and acts as a trigger that sets all the energies in motion.
This year, the Moon will be triggering lots of lovely Jupiter action which will hopefully take the world out of any slump and back to days of happiness and joy.
The big 3 in 2022
Looking at 2022, there are only three major planetary alignments, and they all happen in the first half of the year:
• In February, lucky Jupiter meets exciting Uranus.
• In April, expansive Jupiter meets meditative Neptune.
• In May, we get a meeting between amplifying Jupiter and passionate Pluto.
I will explain these more as the year pans out but know this; IT AUGURS WELL FOR A BETTER YEAR AHEAD.
