The phrase, give an inch, take a mile may apply today. This may show up, especially within the confines or a work or professional setting. Someone may ask more from you than you’re willing to give. While you may want to accommodate because it seems like the right thing to do, it may not sit well with you. If something feels off or you simply don’t want to, remember that many do consider the word “no” a complete sentence.
