Story Behind the Moonology Book
To celebrate 5 years of Moonology, I thought I would share a little story which I’ve never shared before.
It was to do with the final draft and the editing of the book. I was in Sydney at the time, visiting family, and I was staying up all night, still on London time really, trying to get through everything I had to finish by the book’s all-important deadline.
Here’s where it all gets a little bit weird…
One of those nights in Sydney, I dreamed that I went to a party, where there was some very magical and mystical music playing. Like a concert. I remember I put my hands up in the air and danced, just taken over by the music which was all pervasive, misty and something I could feel viscerally.
Watch here what happened next
The funny thing is that after this dream, I really wasn’t quite sure if it was a dream or if I really had been to some kind of concert in Sydney while jet-lagged. I’m still not entirely sure what happened!
In any case, after that dream, the next day I woke up and – to the horror of everybody at Hay House and in particular my editor – I basically rewrote the whole book in about 48 hours. I often think that weird dream had something to do with that!!!!
