About last night…

Last  night I went to the annual Hay House Christmas party. The party was truly beautiful and filled with so many truly beautiful people.

It was held in what really has to be one of the most beautiful parts of London, Mayfair, in arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world, London.

The chilly December streets looked like the stage set of a lush West End or Broadway musical, with white with lights and well-dressed, rich people, with staff in uniforms helping them.

I was in an Uber. The driver pointed to the well-dressed, rich people.

“They jet around the world on a private jet or business class, with their family, anywhere in the world that tempts them, enjoying pretty anything money could buy…” he said. “But I don’t want to be one of them. They are unhappy, corrupt and surrounded by people who only want them for their money.”

He might have listed one or two other reasons why he definitely didn’t want to be rich. A for him, he has a wife and three kids in another country. He earns money via Uber and sends it back to them.

So what do you think?

Mini-quiz – predict your own abundance

Do you think it’s wrong to like shiny objects?

a. yes

b. no

Do you think you could be a nice very rich person?

a. no

b. yes

Do you feel ashamed of wanting abundance?

a. yes

b. no / I don’t want abundance

If you answered mostly a. then you might have some abundance blocks to clear OR maybe you literally don’t care about money and are happy to live off-grid self-sustaining, in which case, yay, have an amazing time! If you answered mainly b, you’re set for abundance!

Two more questions…

Do you think it’s wrong to want a life of ease and luxury?

a. yes

b. no

Do you think wanting money makes you a bad person?

a. yes

b. no

Same same if mostly a.

One last one…

Are you are generous with others as well as yourself?

a. no

b. yes

If not, then why not? Being generous is basically just a good thing. It comes from and/or leads to compassion. When you care for someone else, you lift yourself up too.

Is abundance in 2019 one of your aims?

All these questions are worth thinking about as we move towards the last New Moon of the year this week, and then New Year and the New Moon eclipse in January.

A lot of people suffer from a lack of essential funds, never mind a lack of a private jet!

So if you’re intending to make more money in 2019, or if you think you can attract more money, then now is the time to work through your STUFF around money that might be holding you back.

Just something to think about as we head for the january 6 New Moon eclipse…
