When I was first starting out in astrology, I paid a lot of attention to the New Moon. Following an amazing trip to India about 15 years ago, I got more into the Full Moon as well. These days, I have added the Quarter Moon into my practise. The Quarter Moon – which comes half way between New and Full Moon – is like a “welcome break” pitstop that you can make twice a month, if you decide to live in tune with the magical lunar cycle.
Every Quarter Moon, take a moment to “do” some gratitude. There are so many ways you can do this. You will already know some of them:
Write a gratitude journal
Do #grateful hashtags on Instagram or Facebook
Ask your on- or offline friends who they’re grateful for and create a frenzy of gratitude with them
Realise that you’re super-blessed to have something to be grateful for!
Send someone a “thank you” card or even just a text kind message
Pause before you eat to thanks all the beings that brought food to your plate
Give credit to someone who deserves it on Facebook or hunt down a former teacher and let them know that they improved your life
