CLEAR THE WAY FOR CAREER SUCCESS
If you want to be successful now and in the coming years, get rid of any professional albatrosses around your neck. In other words, a job you can’t stand or employees who are dragging you down, anyone who’s a bottleneck in your brilliant career. You’ve worked too hard to let anything hold you back now.
Take an honest look at your working life. What drains your time without giving much back? Which tasks, clients or commitments keep you stuck? Are there people you’ve kept on out of loyalty or habit, even though it’s not working? Write it all down. It’s much easier to make clear decisions when you can see the full picture in front of you. Notice where you feel energised, too. That’s where your future lies.
Then start clearing, one step at a time. Have the tough conversation. Hand back the project. Update the CV. Say no to the thing that doesn’t fit.
