Today – July 5 2022 – marks 6 years since my book Moonology was first published.
So I thought it might be a good moment to tell the short story of how this book (still in the best-seller charts 6 years later!) came to be!

It was the end of 2015 and I was doing a workshop at Alexandra Palace, here in London, at a mind, body, spirit event.
I had recently relocated to London from Sydney and this was one of the first live events I had done in the UK…
… so far the workshop wasn’t going very well at all!
Loads of people had tuned up but the audio visual equipment had failed … and I couldn’t find anyone to help me get it back up and running, despite racing around like a maniac to all the various admin points.
In the end, I gave up and decided to just speak from the heart about my experiences with the Moon.
I would explain as best I could how to tap into the Moon’s power using not a fancy presentation but by asking participants to fill out a simple A4 print out which I had ready for them.
And it turned out to be one of the best workshops I had ever given.
Everyone was enthralled with the Moon and I loved seeing it.
It was – weirdly – the first Moonology workshop I had ever given.
I had done loads and loads of astrology workshops over the years, and I’d held lots of New Moon wishing freebie workshops in Sydney, but I’d never done a proper, paid, full Moonology workshop before.
And it went off like a rocket!
The response on the day was heart-warming and the feedback was great.
I was totally unknown and unheard of in the UK but people were loving to my Moon info!
Which got me to thinking…
Maybe the UK was ready for Moonology …?
… and maybe Hay House was ready for a Moonology book?
That night, after the workshop, I went home feeling – dare I say – over the Moon!
Despite the tech failures, I knew in my heart I had connected with someone super important; teaching people (mainly women, tbh) about how to work with the Moon.
In a nutshell; make New Moon wishes and do Full Moon forgiveness.
So as soon as I got home to my flat in Fulham, I hopped onto my computer and wrote to Hay House to let them know about the workshop, how amazing the energy was and to see if I could write them a book about the Moon.
Hay House wrote back the VERY next day and said YES!
I wrote the book in about 6 weeks which is just no time at all! But I had been doing this work for 20+ years. It was all in my head.
And I know the book has literally changed lives, including mine.
