Breaking up with friends is so hard.
Romantic break ups get all the attention, but having someone you love and consider a good friend dump you because you did the wrong thing or there was a misunderstanding is tough.
Do we all go through it? I think so. The last time it happened to me, I was so upset that I asked around my friends. Had they ever been dumped by a friend?
Turned out that yes they had, all for various reasons.
But it really is difficult. It’s one thing being dumped by a lover. You can console yourself with thoughts that maybe your butt was just too big or whatever.
But when a friend “lets you go”? That’s confronting.

So I had been through this issue with a girl I will call Mary. She and I had had an upset which was kind of stupid but we both saw RED. There were raised voices.
And that was it. From being a friend, she cut me out. She avoided my gaze on the rare occasions we were in the same room as the same time. I felt dead to her.
I knew I had been badly behaved but so had she – I thought we could work it out.
Apparently not.
Until … Venus retrograde rolled around.
I kid you not. This was two Venus retrogrades ago and at the time, I sat down to record a Venus retrograde course because I thought it would be a good thing to do for people.
Mainly I was thinking about people who wanted a second chance with a lover. But I was happily married so that wasn’t what came up for me as I recorded it.
What came up for me was the friend who had unceremoniously dumped me and in a way, broken my heart. I missed her a lot! She is great fun.
So as I recorded the course, I thought of her and I sent her all the good vibes created through all the exercises and techniques in there.
And the most miraculous things happened.
