AWE…
Hello from Findhorn. Having an amazing time. So many synchronicities, including the fact that the three of us were born on the exact same day of the year! (In a group of 15, I’m not sure what the odds are, but maybe there’s a mathematician out there who can tell me!)
It’s the kind of place where you do learn to listen out for synchronicities, and to see the patterns in life.
They are like little guide posts along highway. It’s fascinating spending all day thinking about such things.
Today we did an exercise bringing up three core moments in our life; one when we felt expansive and one with the universe, one, where we really experienced beauty, and one which was all about the people that we love most.
We were asked to find a word that threaded through all three moments, then to split into partners, and walk around the gardens, talking about what we made a note of.
Funnily enough, the beautiful girl and I who joined up for this both had the word AWE featuring big time.
What does it mean? I’m not really sure. But it makes me think that feeling in AWE is a very good thing and helps us to connect to peak experiences in our life. Maybe we all need to increase our sense of AWE a little bit?
It also reminds me of children who are so often in AWE of so much! They see the world through the eyes of AWE. And it’s a really beautiful thing. Maybe feeling AWE at life and its peak moments and little moments is part of us staying in touch with our inner child that loves life and feels enthusiastic?
