And people doubt astrology?!?!
Here’s a little story …
… or a cautionary tale for all the non-believers.
Mercury retrograde is about – among other things – books.
It’s also all about redoing things.
And mix ups.
As you might know, my Mercury Retrograde Book is being re-printed as a paperback.
Even that in itself is so Mercury retrograde. Mercury retrograde is about redoing, rethinking, revamping, re-anything!
So I sent out an email to my astrologer friends to ask them if they would be willing to take a look at the reprint.
I co-authored the book with renowned UK astrologer Kim Farnell, so I was pretty sure they would approve.
It came out a few years ago as a hardback. Hay House decided to reprint it as a paperback, which was fab with me. We barely changed the text itself but we did do a bit of tweaking, changed the cover and went to paperback.
The irony that this book about Mercury retrograde was being re-printed wasn’t lost on me.
Re-printing a book? Could hardly be more Mercury retrograde.
So we send copies out to my astrologer friends …
… and then I’m sitting on the couch here at home the other day, when one of these lovely astrologers who agreed to take a look at the book for me, sends me the picture you see here (I have her permission to publish this!)
Half of the main tag line of the book is missing!
It should say:
Secrets for Surviving and Thriving in Astrology’s Most Misunderstood Cycle
And I’m thinking, “that’s a bit weird, but more than likely Hay House have sent her some kind of advance proof…?”
So then I ask Hay House and they say “No, not an advance proof!”
And they investigate and (thankfully!) just a very small handful of books had actually been printed like this and made it to the warehouse – but they were caught before they went out! OMG!
The day had been saved by my eagle-eyed friend.
So now my first/only book to have been reprinted is now being REPRINTED! AND THERE WAS AN ERROR ON THE FRONT COVER.
You can’t make this stuff up.
And some people doubt astrology!!!!!
