Something to think about now that we are in eclipse season…

I’ve seen people saying that eclipses are bad. This is just not right.

How do I know?

Because Once Upon A Time an eclipse directly on my Sun liberated me from the most toxic situation I’ve ever been in my life and changed my life, opening me up to the course I’m now on.

Was it easy? No, of course not.

Had I previously been refusing to let go? Yes, of course.

Was it the best thing that ever happened to me? Definitely up there.

The Full Moon eclipse will reveal what needs to be seen.

The New Moon eclipse kick starts the new cycle.

Note that a Full Moon eclipse takes place with the earth between the Sun (yang/male) and the Moon (yin/female) and blocks the masculine Sun’s rays from reaching the feminine Moon.

What does this mean?

It could be seen symbolically that for a brief moment, the Moon is untouched by the Sun. The female has a moment of freedom from the male.

Goddess knows we all need a break from the masculine every now and then.

Feelings instead of egos prevail.

Feelings are not overridden by ego.

We feel the truth.

We release what needs to be released.

We have the emotional space to release feelings which no longer serve us.

Lunar eclipses often bring the culmination of an emotional cycle, one that’s done and dusted.

With our ego out of the way, we can release emotions and even attachments that are no longer serving us.

From this perspective, it becomes almost misogynistic to claim that eclipses are bad.

And this is the longest eclipse in nearly 600 years.

Hmmm.

Food for thought, right?
