As the Sun slips into your 12th house today, you get to slip into the Twilight Zone. Well, sort of. The Sun goes through this part of your chart once a year. As it does so, you can expect to feel a little more like staying at home and contemplating either your navel, or your life, or both. And that is just fine. Take it easy on yourself today and over the next four weeks. It’s an excellent time to get some rest, explore the esoteric and listen to your dreams. Also see if there are events from your past which have created patterns which are now dictating how you react to events in the present… is it time to break with the past? Venus is still retrograde, so if it feels like your love life or your finances are going backwards, watch this.

YOUR WORDS ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU THINK
Have you got the memo about how important your words are? They say “your word is your wand”. You magically create things with the words you say and think. It’s a lovely idea, and it’s also a very practical one. What you focus on tends to grow. Your words are setting things in motion all the time, whether you realise it or not.
So have a think about … what you’re thinking about. Notice the stories you tell yourself during the day. Are they encouraging or critical? Hopeful or fearful? Pay attention to the way you talk about your life to others, too. If you keep saying you’re broke, tired or unlucky, you may be reinforcing exactly what you don’t want. Try catching yourself mid-sentence and rephrasing. Instead of saying “I can’t”, try “I’m learning”. Instead of “this never works”, try “this could work”. Small swaps can make a big difference.
You can’t afford the luxury of a negative thought. That doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means catching yourself when you slip into negativity, and gently choosing a better thought. Try writing down a few positive statements and saying them each morning. With practice, it becomes second nature. Train your brain!
