I have this kind of funny childhood memory where my grandmother would send my father hand written letters in the mail. This was never good news. In fact, my parents used to joke around and call it a “nastygram.” It’s true, sometimes its easier to communicate difficulty or get your point across in writing than it is to have a conversation. So, if things get heated for you in a relationship, maybe it’s best to write things down – even if it’s journaling for own peace of mind.
