Today we see Mercury moving into the sign of Libra. This is great because Libra is the sign of partnerships so it’s going to be easier to talk about any issues standing between you and someone else. It’s also interesting, though, as at the end of September, Mercury will go retrograde in this same spot!
Here’s what Mercury in Libra means for you ahead of the retrograde…
Where Mercury goes, our mind follows – for you Mercury is moving into the part of your chart which is all about your home, family and foundations. There’s a literal or metaphorical trip into your past ahead for you in the coming weeks. For some, it’ll be thanks to an actual trip which takes you back to somewhere you’ve been before, or seeing someone from your past, but for others it will be a mental (head) trip spurred on by running into and/or reconnecting with someone from your past. Look at the memories which are being stirred up now and see how past events are effecting your life today. If you need to get over something from the past, or reconcile yesterday and today, you will find it easier to do just that – as long as you give yourself the mental time out you need. Look at where you have just been and where you are going. Home and family will occupy your mind more than usual now too. If you’ve drifted further away from your family than you’ve meant to, now is the ideal time to get back in touch. People freak out about Mercury Retrograde. But there’s no need! On the contrary, even in the midst of the mayhem, if you know how to work with Mercury retrograde, you can end up turning this cycle to your advantage long-term – again and again.
