When we rush things, as you have a tendency to do, we’re more likely to make an error or a choice we wouldn’t have made if we thought things through. There’s a tension between striking while the iron’s hot and waiting for the time to be right. Sometimes, there isn’t an easy answer. But, more often than not, you’re better to do something, than nothing at all. Better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
