No matter what situation gets thrown your way today, it will be important to remember you always have a choice in how it makes you feel. You can choose to react and potentially make things worse or, you could respond. In most situations, responding is a gentler solution and is likely to get you out of any hot water. If in doubt, don’t. Take a step back, retreat and let any reactive feelings pass. Forgive yourself if you do make the wrong decision.
