We are entering a season of second chances
Would you like a chance to rewind and redo aspects of your personal or professional life? Or maybe both?
So often something happens and we need a second chance to get it right. It could be a work thing or a love thing or something else … but sometimes we just need that second go at getting something right.
If you think a second chance is what you need to success, you could be about to get exactly what you want because, according to astrological theory, we are about to move into a season of second chances, thanks to some rare planetary activity.
This season – summer in the northern hemisphere and winter Down Under, seven planets in our solar system will be retrograde, six of them (Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) at the same time, from August 7 -19.
How it plays out…
> Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto were/are retrograde between June 26, 2018 and July 10
> Jupiter turned direct, July 10, leaving four planets retrograde.
> On July 26, Mercury retrograde begins and brings the tally to five planets retrograde again
> On August 7, 2018, Uranus turns retrograde, making six planets retrograde all at once
Retrogrades are quite common in astrology but this profusion of planets all seeming to whizz backwards at once is not.
A bit about retrogrades…
The most well-known retrograde is Mercury, which happens three to four times a year. The Mercury retrograde cycle is created by the interplay of movement between the earth and Mercury as they both move around the Sun. This timing of this voyage varies from year to year, hence why some years have more Mercury retrograde cycles than others.
Meanwhile, Venus retrogrades once every 18 months approximately (and will do so in October/November this year) and Mars once every two years approximately.
The so-called “outer planets” — Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto — all retrograde for around four to five months every year. (The Sun and the Moon never retrograde.)
