This week brings a wild New Moon, powerful celebrations and Mercury going retrograde, so it’s a time to pay attention. It feels like life is hotting up energetically as we move towards the end of the year. This week brings the New Moon in the deep and mysterious sign of Scorpio. But wait, there’s more!
The New Moon is directly opposite the planet of change and madness, Uranus. So what can we expect? Scorpio is the sign that likes to go deep, to plumb the depths and deal with superficiality. Uranus is the planet that governs chaos theory and unpredictability, and is also about awakenings and revolutions.
So while we can make some wild guesses about what this New Moon will bring, there’s also very much a feeling of ‘wait and see’. So look at where in your life you
have been thinking deeply about something, and where you might have acted a tad shadily. These are the areas where this ‘woke’ New Moon can wake you up and help you to become unstuck, or could even bring you a surprise or a rude awakening!
If you’ve been feeling hemmed in, use this New Moon as a point of change. Pivot to face the direction in which you want to go. It’s a week when change is very much on the agenda, so don’t just sit around – do something! It’s actually quite rare to have such a powerful planet as Uranus triggered so directly by a lunation. There is no doubt that our New Moon wishes and intentions this month will have extra powers to create change.
