Some people don’t like to make New Year’s resolutions or set themselves goals. Others have the idea that if they expect little they’ll never be disappointed. As you might guess, I’m not one of those people. Maybe it’s my Capricorn Moon, but I’m a firm believer in making plans, setting goals and having an overall idea of where you want to go.
Live consciously…
So now is the time for you to start to think about your goals and intentions for the year ahead. In fact, there will be another of these Cosmic Columns before we get to the New Year but as the end of the year gets busier and busier, I figure it really can’t hurt and it really WILL help to start to put together your ideas for the New Year now.
One thing I would urge you to commit to is to working with the 25 New and Full Moons of 2019.
I believe that when you live in accordance with the Moon and start to get clear about what you want, and you use the Full Moon to forgive yourself and others and the New Moon to do your manifesting, that you just can’t help but become a more magical person. And if you live consciously and try to do the right thing by others, whatever you manifest should feel pretty perfect.
Take a moment to set your 2019 goals!
So take some time to write down your goals for 2019. Make your commitments now. you can always come back to them on December 31 as your celebrate New year’s eve. Back in the day I would go to parties and read my New Moon Intentions out to the Universe at the moment the clock struck midnight. For the past few years, because I want my whole family to get involved, we tend to do write out our intentions on New Year’s Day.
However you choose to do it, just get started now, even if you just jot down a few ideas that you’re toying with for your 2019 plans! More next week.
