Is life about to settle down?
So the first thing to say is that we are now out of the eclipse season. So that means life is going to settle down, right? Well, maybe! In fact it’s a bit out of the frying pan and into the fire. Even though the eclipses are over, we are now smack bang in the middle of an uber-retrograde season.
I have been writing about it on my site www.yasminboland.com and I have dubbed it the “season of second chances”. Why? because we currently have six planets all retrograde; Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
Retrogrades are common in astrology, but this profusion of planets all seeming to whizz backwards at once is not. The most well-known retrograde is Mercury, which happens three to four times a year. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde two or three times a year. Saturn reverses annually, with Mars turning back on itself only once every two years.
What does it all mean?
When a planet goes retrograde, whatever has happened in your life can be repeated. It can be literal, or there can be a sort of echo or theme that emerges. Second chances will come up — for better or worse. Sometimes something you were happy about could be in jeopardy, or something that didn’t work out could come good.
Having these six planets all reversing at once is extraordinary — and it offers an unusual opportunity to revisit areas of your life you would like to make over. There can even be a chance to fix past mistakes.
The downside is that if in the past you tried to get away with something (by taking shortcuts, for example, or by not living up to your potential), the retrograde can mean that you’ll now have to face the music.
The bottom line…
The bottom line is that if you want reverse something, you want a second chance or you want to give someone a second chance, this is the time for it.
