It’s a Full Moon week this week, so if you’re a regular reader, then you know what is coming next! Forgiveness!
But don’t take my word for how amazing forgiveness is; listen to the amazing Gabby Bernstein, a #1 New York Times best-selling author and speaker who says “Forgiveness is a core theme in spiritual practices, and it’s necessary if we want to live with freedom and grace.”
In her book Spirit Junkie, Gabby talks a lot about “throwing down an F bomb” – as in a Forgiveness Bomb. I love that. In whose vicinity do you need to throw down an F bomb?
Don’t feel like forgiving? Remember, it doesn’t mean what someone else did was ok, it just means you’re letting it go so you can move on to the next part of your life.
As it says in A Course In Miracles: “What could you want forgiveness cannot give? Do you want peace? Forgiveness offers it. Do you want happiness, a quiet mind, a certainty of purpose, and a sense of worth and beauty that transcends the world? Do you want care and safety, and the warmth of sure protection always? Do you want a quietness that cannot be disturbed, a gentleness that never can be hurt, a deep, abiding comfort, and a rest so perfect it can never be upset? All this forgiveness offers you, and more.”
The Full Moon, when all the emotions come to the surface, is the ideal time to forgive. Just do it! It’ll change your life!
This week the Full Moon will take place in the detached sign of Aquarius, which actually means it could even be a bit easier than usual to forgive. There is no doubt, though, that letting go of upset isn’t easy.
My best time for forgiving is to imagine the person you need to forgive in your mind’s eye. And then imagine pink love streaming from your heart chakra (between your breasts/in the middle of your chest) to theirs.
At least in the moment of your visualisation, you will be taking the first steps towards forgiving them and that frees you up in ways you can’t imagine, including in making you into a more powerful manifestor.
