Moon Meditation: “Don’t Lose Your Cool…”

Moon in Pisces: I don’t know about you, but one of my aims for 2012 is to stay cool and calm! I am quite a fiery person. While I was in India, I saw a notice which said, “Aim for non-harming thoughts, deeds and words.” It’s a valiant thing to do! It’s quite hard to be calm unless you’re a monk in a cave. When we interact with people, we tend to get our buttons pushed. What we need to do is accept that and learn to deal with the resulting emotions calmly. If we can do that, we start to achieve self-mastery. Not easy but certainly worth striving for! It’s not easy when your family is demanding so much of you. You love your family more than life itself pretty much so when one of them is having a hard time or giving you a hard time, you often feel like your life is out of whack. However, what is going on now is a process that you really do have to go through in order to get where you want to be with your personal life.
