As soon as things go awry, do you stop doing your affirmations or visualizations (for example) and give up, thinking “i knew that stuff would never work!”

That is so true. I was having a conversation about that this morning with my mum. As we said, you can ask the universe to bring you a lottery win all you want, but if you are convinced you are unlucky and refuse to buy a ticket, all the visualising in the world won’t bring it to you.
