This week sees a hard angle between Venus and Saturn, as you might have already read about in my week ahead Cosmic Column here.
I just wanted to expand a little on this astro-configuration. On the one hand, it’s true it can be a flat out difficult one. If we are not willing to slowly but surely learn our lessons from life, then every now and then an astro-event like this one will come along and bite us on the butt!
However it can also be a very useful connection. When problems arise, of course, our challenge is to learn and grow. For example, you might need to learn to not over-react when someone does something you don’t like. This week’s Venus/Saturn clash could bring up issues that require you to show you have finally learned your lesson.
Or you could just give up when someone challenges you, even though you know you should stand your ground and stand up for youself. Again, this week will give you a chance to if you are in “giving up” or “standing up” mode.
Saturn is now nearing the end of his stay in the partnership of Libra. Many, many partnerships, personal and professional, have now been tested plus plus. Any that are still standing can probably last a good while now! However if you’re in a relationship where you are merely papering over the cracks, you could also find the coming few weeks bring you a reminder that that is not good enough!
Sorry to sound like it’s all tough stuff but remember – Saturn never gives us anything we can’t handle. It’s like the stern teacher whose paternal gruffness ultimately brings out the best in us.
This week, look at any argument, negotiations or issues as your chance to be the wiser person, to consolidate your give and take skills and to be a better parter, in business and in pleasure.
