Yasmin here. I am sitting at my desk, writing the Stars for the first week of July, marvelling that we are already this far into 2012.
On my computer, I have an amazing chant playing and it just occurred to me that it’s IDEAL for (a) anything and everything (b) anyone who is going through a tough time after the eclipses and the Venus transit and (c) for my up-coming webinar.
I tend to function on inner guidance and I have been guided in our next webinar to focus on chanting. I hope you will join me! It’s all about the New Moon with some amazing chanting thrown in, as a way of grounding our dreams as a part of the process of making them come true.
If you want to get some practise in first though, try this link here.
The chant is Sanskrit and reads “Om Namo Narayani” which means “I surrender to the Divine” or even more specifically “I surrender to the Divine Mother”. I believe it is well known throughout India. I learned it at the Sri Narayani Peedam, a wonderful ashram presided over my Narayani Amma, who is my main spiritual guide this lifetime.
No matter what is going on, chanting “Om Namo Narayani” releases everything. Not happy about something? Chant “Om Namo Narayani” and accept that the Universe has your best interests at heart and your soul’s evolution is the name of the game. Delighted about life? Chant “Om Namo Narayani” in gratitude.
I’ll be talking more about this at the webinar, along with making New Moon wishes and looking at the Stars for the month ahead. Hope you can make it!

Does it make any difference if you say the words in sanskirt or english?
No xx
I woke up feeling a bit blue this morning, I’ve never listened to a chant before but am playing the chant on the link now; it’s good to be open to things especially if you want things to change.
