Your Virgo Child
These children are meeker and milder than many which should make your life as a parent relatively easy. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to help them relax and enjoy life. Virgo kids are keen to help around the house and will often keep their room tidy without being asked – your job is to thank them for that and to encourage them to get out into the garden to get themselves dirty! They can also be very self-critical – if you can wean them off that early on, you will be doing them a huge favour.
The best thing you can do for your Virgo child: Give them hard and fast routines – they need it more than any other child. It makes them feel safe. Also, when it comes to food, go organic as much as you can. They are sensitive types so the less food colourings and other processed nasties the better.

Your child’s year ahead in 2012: This year is all about your Virgo child developing a strong sense of self-worth. Right up to October, use every chance you get to show your child how much you value him or her so that your feelings can rub off. It’s also an excellent year to teach your little one about money – opening a savings account for them could lead to long-term benefits which come to fruition in seven years.
