Cosmic Girl
Hang on to your hats, computers and travel tickets, Mercury, the planet with the wackiest sense of humour in the zodiac, is about to start one of his famous retrograde cycles again. Moreover he’s doing it in one of his home-signs, Virgo, where he can really make his presence felt!
Plus, three of the mightiest planets Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are also set to clash. Put it all together and we have the makings of a very volatile period!
First let’s talk about the Mercury reverse cycle. It starts next Saturday and lasts until September 13. The best advice for coping with it (in my humble opinion) would be (a) keep your sense of humour (b) back-up your computers (c) double-check details, facts and figures before agreeing to/signing off on them (d) keep your sense of humour (e) use this period to sign any contracts you would like to renegotiate later (f) avoid booking travel plans if you possibly can (g) keep your sense of humour!
The humour “issue” is related to the fact that Mercury is regarded as the trickster of the zodiac. The less we allow upsets and mix-ups to get to us under Mercury retrograde, the more we can be Mercury-retrograde-Teflon, with things just sliding off us!
As for the clashing titans Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto, this is all about digging our heels in versus allowing something to “wither away” and something new to take its place.
Try to be as confident and optimistic as possible as you go through the week. Everyone will be feeling this clash – it just depends which side of which fence you’re on.
Something has to go, something will start anew and afresh. Someone will be resisting the change and someone will see that what’s going on is like a purification process which is ultimately for the good of all. Whatever you do, don’t panic!
It all sounds a bit cryptic now but suffice to say, if you find yourself losing your sense of humour/temper, stop, breathe and consider how the events which are making you snarky could actually be for your own good.
Q&A
Q I was born October 17 1973 in Sydney at 2.35am. I know Saturn has entered my sign (Libra) and it’s meant to be a kinda good thing with lessons being learnt from hard work. But surely there must be some excitement or good fortune, that comes with ease in my chart for this year?
A “Ease” isn’t really the first word which comes to mind when Saturn is in the picture. Saturn is actually about hard graft which brings long-term results. Having said that, you have a rare Sun/Uranus conjunction in your birthchart which means you have a life where things can happen very quickly! Do the hard work now and Saturn should “grease” the way for you to end up where you want to be.
Q I was born at 3:15pm on 17 May 1976 in Parramatta NSW. I’m getting married next year and would like to know the best date.
A My advice to you is to ask God/dess and/or your Angels/spirit guides to help you pick a date and go from there. All dates and charts have positives and negatives. If you’re really determined to use astrology to chose your date, contact Lee at www.leelehman.com

I’m a Virgo, born in Saddle Brook NJ on 9/4/62 at 9:27pm and thought I’d finally met the man (a Gemini) I would spend the rest of my life with last year, but earlier this year trouble reared it’s ugly head and now we haven’t seen each other for 8 months. We used to talk, text and email all the time; now we rarely communicate, though when we do now, things seem to be okay. Is there anything in my chart that shows this can be salvaged or is it time to give up? It’s kind of hard to keep my sense of humor when a lot of problems arose during the last time Mercury went retrograde – a repeat of that I can do without!
